About the Internship:

Sybrin is a leading provider of innovative software solutions across Africa and beyond. We're offering a 12-month internship opportunity for aspiring Developers to join our Technology division.

This internship provides hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining real-world software applications. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working on exciting projects that drive value for our clients and support our mission of delivering cutting-edge technology.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers
  • Participate in team discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Contribute to documentation and testing of applications
  • Learn and apply development best practices and standards
Required Skills:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Software Development
  • Basic programming knowledge in one or more languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with development frameworks such as .NET, React, or Angular (preferred but not required)
  • Understanding of database concepts and SQL
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Qualifications:
NQF Level 4 or equivalent
