Role Overview: Sybrin is a leading company in innovative solutions, empowering businesses across various sectors. We are offering an internship opportunity within our Legal division, designed to provide hands-on experience, exposure to real-world projects, and opportunities for professional growth.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented candidate who is eager to learn and contribute to the Legal team. This role will support the team with administrative, organisational, and compliance-related tasks while gaining valuable insight into corporate legal processes.

Reporting Line: Head of Legal

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide administrative support to the Legal division, including filing, document preparation, and record-keeping
•Assist in drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence under supervision
•Help maintain and update legal registers, databases, and contract management systems
•Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
•Support the team in ensuring compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements
•Assist in conducting basic legal research and compiling summaries or reports as required
•Liaise with internal departments to gather information and documentation needed for legal matters
•Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Critical Technical and Behavioural Skills Required:
•Legal Studies, Office Administration, or a related field
•Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•Willingness to learn and take initiative in a professional setting
•Working knowledge of the principles in ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information security, cybersecurity, and privacy management System), ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management System), POPIA, GDPR.
